This recipe shows you how to create a flavorful tomato soup.
Ingredients: This is what you need
This list of ingredients contains everything you need:
- 1.2kg tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 500ml vegetable stock
- 1 pinch of salt
- salt & pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- oregano
- basil

Instructions: Your step-by-step guide to success
Make sure to follow the steps below:

Wash the tomatoes, drain them, quarter them, and remove the stems. Cut the tomatoes into cubes. Peel the
onions and garlic cloves and finely chop them.

Heat the oil in a pot. Sauté the onions and garlic in it. Add the diced tomatoes, vegetable stock, salt,
pepper, bay leaf, and oregano. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes.

Remove the bay leaf, purée the soup, and strain it through a sieve. Bring the soup back to a boil and adjust
the seasoning to taste. Serve with basil leaves.
Tip:
Cheese tortellini go well with this!
